It is really a matter of life and death for Bute.

If he loses in Montreal, again by KO, that's almost it. He should then retire. Say goodbye to his fans that supported him for so long and with whoom he lived quite an adventure.

If wins though, he can turn the page from that "Nottingham night", and go for Ward who would probably have more problem with him then Froch did due to his style.

    Quite ou double.

With all respect you don`t know Bute.Even if Froch would lose the belt the rematch will happen no matter the odds.Bute was not Bute, said it himself but not officialy cause he doesn`t like to to search for excuses. On the other side I agree with Froch he would have been defeated anyone at 168 that night and I include Ward here.A match in Quebec winter time will change much the odds.Let`s remenber the Andrade fights.Bute done it once and can do it again despite the other level. He`s in his peak.

You can't compare Andrade I to Froch, if you do, you're an idiot.

Bute looked the weaker one in that Froch fight. But people on here say they don`t want the rematch.Well,he`s got the contract to fight for a rematch whatever the outcome may be.But it looks like Froch will do another number on Boot boy.

Hmmm........ depends on the currency. It was widely publicised that Kessler got 12½ million DKK per fight in the groupstage of the s6. Normally that would translate into 2½M USD.

You are correct about Calzaghe. That is also a known amount that also figures in the courtrulings from Kessler's case against Mogens Palle.

For Green I read that he got 1.2 M USD.

The guys that is saying that Kessler makes 5M USD per fight is seriously on some heavy ****.

Of course you would Laffie.I said all along that Bute owed his fans big time, and taking the Froch fight was his way of doing that.
Good to see you back BTW.:good

Since I'm feeling quite charitable today,I won't dissect and destroy your post AE.
Even though it would be quite easy.

u want to say that in that night Froch would've beat any guy from smw , including Ward ?????? Froch wouldn't beat Ward 10/10 fights !!

In rematch , Bute has good chances to outbox and circle Froch due his good footwork , speed and athleticism and win the fight fair and square but he must learn how to duck and pick hard punches because u never know when your opponent may surprise you !

You like his eternal optimism TT.
Not his grasp of the facts.:nono
AE isn't a bad poster, but the reference to Andrade leaves him wide open to an endless flow of Marquez-style counters.:bbb

I prefer his reference to the winter time. Ol' Frochy is gonna be too chilly and Bute gonna crack the ice this time :hey

Flashy, you were one of the first to come on and admit that Bute had shamed a nation(s) (Damn dual nationality!:patsch)
What's changed your mind about the wide UD and boxing lesson you reckon Froch is gonna get handed.
You took it like a man.Why the change of heart?
