Bute re-match is on the cards for Froch

What was the problem with the promoters with that one LP?
Guys used to say on the dinghy/tug boat that it wouldn't happen because of rival promoters.
You guys know more than I do on this.Can it happen now?

Bute, over night reached his most difficult stage of his career. His next steps should be:

1. Training
2. Tune-up fight
3. Heavy specific strategic training
4. Rematch

It looks like a lose/lose situation, and for humble fans, there are two sides to this; No don't do it, don't ruin your career...just move on type of thing, and the second are the hardcore diehard fans which are in the do or die mentality, all or nothing...

What I'm more interested to see is what side Bute's camp is on...

BTW,who are those two guys in your av? They look as if they'd be OK at football.Is that a photo from the Romanian lower leagues? The one on the left looks as if he'd be quite good if he lost a few pounds.

It's never been a rival question more than Bute finishing stuff at 168 and making the most of this local fight.

Now that they're both well known outside Canada I say it will happen in 2013.

Would probably have happened sooner had Bute won the Froch fight...


And I don't think there is any big beef between the two organization.
They worked together in the past (Pascal-Diaconu, Diaconu Dawson)

 

One might never know how things could turn in a rematch.
But I agree they should take it slowly with maybe one or even two
fights for Bute before the rematch.

Personally I don't think he should fight Froch in Nottingham for less than 3 million. Not liras or drachmers. DOLLARS!

 

I think Froch has Bute's number,but why write Bute off? Why shouldn't he push for the re-match and try prove he's the better man?
Floyd Patterson was knocked down 7 times by Ingemar Johansson and stopped in 3 rounds,in the re-match he knocked Johansson cold in 5 rounds.

I personally would like to see a rematch in his own comfort zone after a good tune-up.

I obviously know that it could potentially be a similar fight, but it's for the unknown possibility that anything could happen.
