Khan-Garcia [AFTERMATH]

You're making out that i'm hating on khan which is not true, i'm a fan. I regard Khan to be a B standard fighter that will get outboxed by true world class fighters like Mayweather and JMM. I apologise i should have been more assertive with my comment. Regarding this fight though, I think khan takes it on points.

I think Khan is not as good as he says he is but he is talented and always takes the toughest fights. If all fighters had this attitude of taking the toughest fights, boxing would be much more interesting. Just a shame he wont fight Kell Brook.

 

I think he will, just not the right time really. Khan fought in dec then had rematch scheduled for may which got cancelled, now fighting a champion in a couple of weeks. If both of them win in the next 2 fights, they should fight at the end of the year. I know kell was in line to get a shot at the title vs winner of bailey/jones but obviously GBP got alexander the shot. So more than ever Brook needs the khan fight to try make a statement on a world scale. He can KO Jones within 5, it still won't help him get a world title fight I don't think.

 

Yeah true, as a brit I obviously want both guys competing at world level and fighting for titles. I just think now for Kell it will be difficult getting a world title shot as you know the powerful promotional outfits always seem to jump the queue and whoever is in the rankings doesn't mean **** all. I mean if alexander defeats bailey, that will mean GBP will have 3 of the WW champions within their stable! There is zero chance they will risk making a match up vs Brook or anyone from TR unless the belt organization really pushes them into a corner which I highly doubt. GBP will just make in-house fights which as a Brit is upsetting as I want kell to get a shot but I understand their position as they possess a number of good fighters competing in the 140/147 divisions.
