    Oh ya I was a bit delusional,

    that was me on full rampage mode even more ******ed then current version of me.


    I also have watched dozens of Tyson films since then ...along with Larry Holmes. lol

    I actually no longer know if Prime Lewis could have taken Prime Tyson.

    I don't think it's delusional for Lewis to beat Tyson up. Little 5-10, 218 lb Mike? :lol: Lewis is the greatest super-heavyweight there's ever been. He'd exert every physical advantage to the fullest extent. He's not no-defense Bowe who rarely used his physical advantages, not arm-punching Vitali with zero inside game, not Wladimir (2nd best) who rarely ever pulls out the safety pin. I dont give a **** how proper this mother****er was or how much tea he sipped... He'd **** most up, best-for-best.

    I don't abandoned my favorite fighters even if they have multiple losses.

    Examples of fighters being abandoned after losses:

    Rey Bautista
    Juan Manuel Lopez
    Kermit Cintron
    Gerry Penalosa
    Kassim Ouma

    no, but I was very down. After Hearns lost to Hagler in 1985 I was very down. When he lost to Barkley in 1988 I was down, but I knew that losing to Barkley was a style fight and that Tommy would always be seen as great for fighting the legends he fought and winning 4 titles. What surprised me was Tommy coming back against Kinchen and using his experience to win 2 more world titles at 168 and 175. I never thought losing was a big thing is boxing, it is how you recover and come back. Certain styles are bad for any fighter.

    I could never abandon John Duddy. His only losses were from a robbery and a steroid/scale cheating hypejob. So he never actually lost.

    when tyson lost to douglass, that was particular hard for me since i was a young lad. i was confused and i thought he could regain his form again if he really tried. but, as i saw later, he was just never the same even more after his prison stint

    I thought he came back with a vengeance, honestly. More arrogant and dirty than ever. He obliterated Tillman and Stewart, then walked through every single power shot Ruddock could muster to his chin and picked him apart twice to get himself back in position to regain the title.

    Never did, never will. You gat to live to fight another day, that's it. Doing everything for pride it's stupid like Cotto told Margo in their rematch face-off. Money is important, having an unblemished record is nice but not really necessarily proves much other than consistency and discipline, health is the more important cause we and the fighters are all human beings and we need to be well physically, mentally and spiritually. And many tragedies, too many tragedies have happened with boxers in and out of the ring recently.
