Anyone who watched the Dib vs Marali fight would understand Durandt's frustrations...huge robbery

 

I don't know if people forget about that or just don't want to talk about it. Man what a bad decision that was. The horrendous decision actually takes away from the fact that it wasn't a bad fight.

I heard Johnny Lewis talking about it a few months ago and I thought since its been a few years and he is no longer involved with Billy he might call it for what it was but he didn't come out right and say it was a robbery. Either way that is one of the worst decisions I have seen on Australian soil. Billy started well but from the 5th onwards it was all Marali and he deserved the win. I think some also forget the sanctioning body for that fight ordered a rematch and rather then face Marali again Billy dropped the belt and moved down to featherweight.

Marali fought for and one the vacant belt in his next fight before losing it legitimately in his first defence.
