I DARE somebody to name me a boxer with better infighting technique than Andre Ward

    Andre Ward is the best INfighter in the sport right now. . .

    All because he exhibits silky smooth skills from the outside off the jab, and counter, does not mean he's not the best infighter in the sport right now.

    He can completely shut opponents down on the inside. . . Look what he did to solid, class opponents with power like Kessler, and Froch on the inside. . . And one of the most one-sided 12 round shutouts of the year agaisnt Allan Green.

    His inside technique is scary good. . .

    I'm not talking about whether or not another fighter from past would beat him. . . That's irrelevant to this thread. I personally think Calzaghe would win a close decision over him.

    I'm simply discussing his ability to fight on the inside. . Among all active boxers, he is the best infighter in the game right now. . .

    There is nothing silky or smooth or slick about Andre Ward. He has a Hopkineske style....and not the good young Hopkins, but the old effective but boring and sloppy 45 year old Hopkins.

    And Dawson is going to tap that!!!!

    He does have a Hopkins thing going on. . But he's slick as well. .

    Which is why he is UNORTHODOX :D

    his father,Sven Ottke used to grab and hold just as much.why is he considered a disgrace and his son Sven Warddke skilled?when a guy grab and hold that much he usually is afraid of exchange because he has a glass jaw.and i have to remember you that Sven Warddke was flored by a journeyman.

    LONG LIVE SVEN OTTKE! Haha I could watch his KO of Mundine all day. . . LOL, and the ref giving Mundine the full ten-count despite him being sound asleep, out cold. . LOL, should have immediately waved it off, and got him Dr.'s attention.

    Definitely could have given better examples. Stating that he shut down boxers like Green, Froch and Kessler on the inside doesn't really highlight his infighting. None of the stated are particularly good on the inside.
