But when you can impose your style of infighting on guys like that, it exhibits your ability. . . So, yes, while Froch/Kessler/Green are not very good on the inside, they are overall very good boxers (with the exception of Green), who usually are able to dictate, and impose their style. . .

Hmm, I don't think Floyd is quite as good on the inside, but he is definitely one of the better infighters (one of the better at every aspect of boxing) when he wants to be. . But Floyd doesn't really like to BRING THE FIGHT on the inside, and KEEP IT THERE, like Ward does. . . Floyd will just one-up a guy like Hatton, who is an infighter, when they are able to bring the fight on the inside. . .

Hopkins was in his prime. . And while he's still probably the second, or third best in the game right now, I don't think he's quite as good as a physically primed Ward is right now.

Prime Toney, actually I might be inclined to agree. . . Dude was almost untouchable on the inside. . . But current fighters, as in fighters with their abilities right now, not a chance. . .

I agree that Ward is very, very good on the inside, however, I'd say it was more his exceptional judge of distance from the outside that allowed him to actually work away/his way on the inside.

And again, like I said. None of the mentioned can really fight on the inside.

I'd say he's both - exception at feeling, and gauging distances, and fighting on the inside . . . Once he gets inside, he stays there. . . If he wasn't good on the inside, guys like Kessler, and Froch would have been able to inhibit him from getting, and moreover, STAYING, on the inside.

Some of the **** Floyd pulls on the inside is just downright nasty! Haha he is ****ing good at it though so doesn't get caught a lot.

I'd say it's between him and Ward for currently.

BHop was brilliant but obviously with age and the loss to Dawson, it's clear things are coming to an end there.

A better observation IMO would be. His great judge of distance and ability to fight on the outside allowed him to limit/shut down both Froch and Kessler's best work (ignoring Green), both of which is at the larger distance. This in turn allowed him to work his way on the inside, get his punches off whilst smothering their LIMITED work on the inside.

Neither Froch or Kessler produce good work on the inside. Ward is very, very good on the inside, like I said...but being able to "shut down" their inside work is not something to shout about IMO. They are not the best examples of Ward's infighting. His judge of distance was the biggest factor in both bouts IMO.

But when he got inside, he was able to STAY inside. . . If he wasn't a great infighter, Froch, and Kessler would have been able to prevent him from staying on the inside, while firing off punches for periods of each round. . .

An infighter has to know not only how to fight on the inside, but GET on the inside, and STAY on the inside. . .

Andre Ward is the best inside fighter there is. Anyone who could not see his talent needs to watch more boxing. Check this link out: http://www.eastsideboxing.com/forum/showthread.php?t=104907&page=2. This was me calling him the future undisputed super middle champ back in November 2008. Back than all you ****ing ***gots threw him to the side and said he wasnt ****. None of you can call yourself Ward fans. Back then everyone said he was a KO waiting to happen. You guys dont know **** about boxing.
