Mayweather has a perfect record. Who would'nt want that. Mayweather's record is very underrated. They have similar resumes, but I guess pac's is a little better, but not that far off honestly.

    This is fair.

Sometimes someone that's better/more skilled accomplishes less than one or more of their contemporaries.

Manny despite having lost a few fights has put himself in more risky fights and defeated a greater range and calibre of opposition than Floyd has.

If Floyd had fought the more dangerous opposition between 2005 & 2007, and then not ''retired'' twice there might be a debate to be had.

The only thing Floyd has over Manny is the fact that he's unbeaten, but Manny has done so much that it renders the 0 practically meaningless.

Comparing Floyd's undefeated resume vs. Pac's is like that ITT Tech student with a 4.0 GPA trash talking a Harvard University student with a 3.5 GPA.

    :yep

What because you have more knowledge than the Panelists and Journo's that vote for The Ring magazine.

    Mate you are delusional.

Plus this goes to the dick that is Turbotime.
Mate i understand your a Floyd fan but everything i came at you with was researched statistics and facts.

All ive been getting back in your defense is. Im a idiot that knows nothing.

Yet 20 of the best Journo's and Panelists at Ring magazine had Barrera P4P #3 from 2001 until late 2006. And if thats not Prime i dont know what the **** is. You say he was Prime in the late 90's yet he never made the top 10 P4P in The Ring ratings.

    GET A ****ING CLUE.

    i'll take manny's.

even with all the losses and stuff.

a lot of his fights are more dramatic , more exciting , etc.

    that's what people remember.

he also had a lot of surprising wins. delahoya for 1. barrera 1 for another.

controversy too. even when people think he should have lost.

    people remember that stuff.

    think about it.

how many people know ali's exact record?

not many. but people remember all the controversial stuff. phantom punch or underdog stuff like foreman in zaire.

Yeah i know he was Number 3 but many questioned this as he got there over the Margo win which many thought he was cheating.

I would have had Marquez 3 Hopkins 4 Mosley 5

However can I just add like i said

Mosley number 3 rating his record after
    Draw - Sergio Mora
    Loss - Manny Pacquiao
    Loss - Saul Alvarez

Barrera number 3 rating like I said was the same from 2001 until 2006
    his record after
    WON - Paulie Ayala
WON - Erik Morales Title fight
WON - Mzonke Fana Title Fight
WON - Robbie Peden Title Fight
WON - Rocky Juarez Title Fight
WON - Rocky Juarez Title Fight
Loss - Juan M Marquez Title Fight

Now call me crazy but those wins right there are Quality.

All Floyd fans act like Barrera was ****ing 35 years old or some **** he was 29 years old for **** sake.

Compare 29 Years old to Mosley's 39 Years old.

Thats 10 ****ing years. Mate and the fact he kept the #3 P4P spot up until the loss to Marquez in Early 2007.

Mosley was 39 and still put PBF on ***** street for a round.

I agree with some of the things you've stated.

However, to place so much value in a plethora of journalists and sports writers who, among reporting for an array of other sports, aspire to sell news.

They're not experts on boxing in any sense other than sensationalising events to sell news.

They do not only specialize in reporting boxing. In fact they don't even specialize in reporting boxing. They write for magazines, papers, blogs, etc about many different sports and the majority have most probably never even sparred, let alone fought competitively and could not tell the difference between a left hook thrown with good or poor technique.

I see what your saying and you make a very good point but Hopkins started at 26 and had only just come out of a 5 year prison sentence, while Marquez had started at age 19 in 1993.

Mayweather never avoided Tszyu. The reason Mayweather and Tszyu didn't fight was becuase Tszyu had a contract with showtime while Mayweather had a contract with HBO.
