He then won the IBF belt back from undefeated Urango in a near shut out before KO'ing Castillo.

When Tszyu fought Hatton everyone was waiting for him to KTFO Ricky. He was allegedly a fraud then, too. I see in here now that Tszyu is being called well past it, but that's not what folks were saying when he demolished Sharmba Mitchell in their rematch.

 

Hatton was garbage, Point, Blank, Period. Never beat anyone. And is one of the ugliest muhfuka's to ever lace um up... Lol He got them herpie lips....lol

You only have to google predicitions for the Hatton Tyszu fight to see how 'shot' or over the hill Kostya was.

I'll save you the time of looking the vast majority of people predicted an early to mid rounds ko for Tyszu.

Tyzsu was also rank p4p#2 before the fight.

I like how people say tszyu was over the hill and shot. I remember the betting on the lead up to this fight and hatton was a 3/1 underdog for this fight. If he was so over the hill why didnt u guys remortgage your houses for that.

Hatton outboxed Malignaggi who is actually not a bad boxer. Not saying he would have beat Mayweather but without Cortez refereeing it would have been a good contest, he kept breaking it up too much.

He's a bad style for Pac but Pac was undisputably p4p no1 in the world at the time.

 

Problem is that half of these clowns know **** all about boxing or have only seen the back end of his career.

Those of us that watched him coming through and can appreciate that what he did against Tszyu was take away Tszyu right hand before taking his heart and soul. hatton was a beast that night against the P4P No2 fighter in the world. There was no wrestling in that fight, just good old fashioned inside fighting. He was punching up close, not spoiling.

Also love the way everyone says Hatton got away with fouling in that fight. Hatton landed 1 deliberate low blow after Tszyu had repeatedly hit him low and got away with it. If anyone was fighting dirty it was Tszyu.

Tszyu had the class to give Hatton his props after that fight. i don't know why the rest of these clowns can't do the same. He was great entertainment and was good for the sport. There's only ooonnnnnneee Ricky Hatton.
