What's he doing? is he retiring or coming back? been awfully quiet since December and on Twitter he just seems to talk about getting pissed haha Could fight the winner of Rees - Mathews
Was a big fan of Murray, followed him through his career and told everyone he would be the next big thing. I thought he would eat Mitchell for breakfast but unfortunately Mitchell exposed the flaws in Murray. Jim Watt was spot on when he said Murray doesnt hit hard enough to just walk through punches to try and break someone down. I really dont know where he goes from here because he aint winning no world title at Lightweight and certanly not with his style but i do hope we havent seen the last of him.
He used to box a lot more in his earlier fights, sure he was still a come forward pressure fighter, but there was a method to his madness, I think in his later fights he thought he was unstoppable and stopped using some fundamentals which had got him the success he had had, I think the fight before his fight with Mitchell (can't remember the guy's name) sort of exposed him a little bit, it was after seeing that fight when I realized Mitchell would destroy him.
Why?? Harrison is not getting any younger and he really needs a name to get him noticed again at top level. Murray may well be too much for him but until Scott fights a live opponent we will never know what he really has left in the tank. The same applies to John Murray, he needs to get back in the public eye and fight someone and i can't think of anybody more high profile than Harrison at the minute. Lets see it happen on the Burns V Mitchell undercard with the winner getting a shot at the main event winner
I think Murray should fight the winner of Rees/Mathews Scott Harrison could fight someone like Anthony Crolla or Andrew Murray next?
He's probably better off taking a good bit of time out. He took 2 ****in beatings in last 2 fights. Especially against Rios.
Its common knowledge in Manchester. I have actually seen him many times on nights out wired out of his boat. Its no secret, everyone knows even his trainer. He's a party animal between fights.
lol well fair enough, he's not going past British or Euro level I don't think anyhow (not a slight on Murray) but his style will be found out every time when he moves up a level.
He'll retire. Sadly i think he's been a few too many wars where his only defence was the classic faceblock.
