What's going on in this era of boxing? 3 out of the 4 best infighters are defense wizards. How is that they can do it yet someone who supposed to have the best offense can't?

This era has not been taught the right way to infight.

guys like floyd should hate inside fighters.

Maybe cause that's not his style? I also don't see the other three fighters throwing 8-punch combos on one foot. Pacquiao's blessing and curse is his unorthodoxy. The older he gets, the more it becomes a hindrance to him.

    See: Roy Jones.

true. Castillo gave him two tougher than usual fights.

As for the op good question. Even Timmeh is a better inside fighter than emmanuel.

Floyd is a defensive wizard who cherry picks so what's your point? U can still be an offensive machine who cherry picks straight ahead boxer with no defense to play into your style, or that is coming off loses.
Manny cherry picks. That's a fact but that's what usually happens when you reach that level.

Manny is not very versatile. In fighting is not his game. He would get knocked out trying to fight an infight with Maywetaher. Floyd is skilled enough to impose his bigger shoulders and better footwork to make Manny does what he wants him to do as well.

It's not his style, he doesn't duck low, let alone use his shoulder, his defence is stil poor but it doesn't matter, his offense is still incredible with power combos coming from all angles. Just his style. Perfect match up for floyds style

Khan does not have an inside game either . . . can anyone guess why. I think a certain coach has taken his fighters as far as he can.
