Gsora's Chin is Granite and His Workrate Excellent - How is Haye Supposed to Win?

I find it amazing the differenc ein opinion from the GF to the British forum.
A vast majority of brits see this as a mismatch that Haye should win comfortable whereas on the GF most are expecting Chisora to wear Haye down.

Interesting because i know what forum has seen more of the 2 fighters.

Work rate chin and BALLZ win this for Chisora.

Idiots who are constanlty prediciting Haye blasts this guy out and Haye blasts that guy are wishful thinkers.David has done nothing at HW to warrant that kind of praise.

His sad career ends in just over a week.

 

Thats because we've seen Chisora develop & improve but know his limitations. He is being ridiculously over-rated, especially his chin. Sexton & Fury had him hurt, Helenius had him rocked & none of them are as fast & explosive as Haye.

You can divide the people picking Chisora into 2 catagories, the Hayeters & the ignorant. Haye by TKO/KO was about 2-1 last time I checked which is fantastic value.

 

Not necessarily; I just can't imagine this topping Martinez vs that monster.

 

He is getting knocked out. His best accomplishment is being able to take Vitali's hard but slow arm punches. Haye will hit him with quick punches that he cant see.

You haven't seen the fight have you???? It's OK... most of the Hayeters haven't, they just think they look clever when they bring up the Thompson fight.

You're right though, Thompson did wear Haye down. By letting the inexperienced 21 round novice punch him off of every inch of rope in the ring for 5 rounds before he neigh on collapsed from exhaustion. Haye's learnt a fair bit since then

 

Haye needs a better jab if he's going to beat Chisora. The speed and movement won't be enough. Fury and Vitali use their size well, and could keep Chisora off them. Chisora won't have any problems beating up a smaller heavyweight, comparable in size.

 

Similar to the way he beat up Ruiz? Obviously Chisora is younger and will be more durable, but the fight will be more or less a carbon-copy, with it going the distance or Haye getting a TKO late on. He'll use his superior movement and make the forward-plodding Chisora walk on to shot after shot. The gulf in quality/skill between the two his huge. The only thing Chisora was supposed to be equally-matched in, was the trash-talk in the build-up. And even then he's been out-done.

But with that said, Chisora with his durability, style and heart will not make it a walk in the park for Haye. He'll give a fair account of himself.

 

Agree but some of haye's shots are not going to be enough to knock chisora down. If vitali couldn't knock him down, and no one in the HW punches harder than V, how is haye going to pot shot and win by KD? Chisora's workrate is superiors to haye, but obviously haye is the superior boxer but chisora has a lot more heart.

It can go either way, its not a mismatch as so many idiots say. Reckon it will go to points.

It sounds like you've not seen the fight yourself. Haye threw a ton of punches in the first round, but aside from a brief moment in the second Thompson was landing a nice jab and a right hand combo. Haye certainly WAS tired out, but make no mistake the steady stream of punches from Thompson were why he collapsed.
