[ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YO-2E2pH2Mg[/ame] If someone can translate some of this,it's in Spanish... I mean we can say who we thinks harder but Cotto fought both,we didn't..
Don't surprise me Mayweather with the fight above 147 and how Floyd was sitting down on his shots and pretty much teeing off, Im surprised he didnt drop not once, that fight Cotto proved he has an Iron Chin in his own right
I just don't think so. Maybe Floyd is more precise, but you don't see guys walking down Floyd and getting the kind of structural damage Pac inflicts on them. Guys back pedal from Pac. Who backpedals from Floyd? His offense is very effective, but I severely doubt his one punch power even begins to approximate the actual impact Pac's has. they are both probably hard to see, but you just don't see people running from Floyd very often.
Cotto never stoped pressing in the Floyd fight. His wobbling point didn't really come until round 12. I think cotto needs to watch his fights with both back to back and assess that Floyd is just a smarter fighter capable of inflicting a whole lot of intelligent damage going forward or backward, while Pac is more limited to inflicting damage when someone comes into his power.
This recording was done before the Clottey fight, he says nothing about Mayweather or Pac. WTF is TS talking about?
You havent been punched by Pacquiao or Floyd. Cotto has. and i think cotto has a little more behind his opinion than you or i. Floyd doesnt go for knockouts. hes a tactician. He has the power though that keeps guys honest. his opponents always respect his power.
Hmmm, I don't think so. Not that I've been punched by either guy to know, but, the evidence from their fights tell a completely different story.
The 2 fights cant be compared in regards to who hit harder, Cotto was drained/ripped to shreds vs Manny, but In the ring there probably was only a 5/10 pound difference, contrary to Floyd who fought a Cotto at 154, and probably was out weighed by 20-25 pounds in the ring fight night. Honestly I think Manny hits harder no question, then again aside from stretching a coked out Hatton which sticks in my memory in regards to Mannys superhuman power, Manny always got his ko's by activity and accumulation. This isn't the first time a common opponent or sparring partner said Floyd hits harder so who knows...........
For the most part I'd agre with you, but sometimes these fighters are biased with no objective ability to unrepress the traumatic post-pac psychic event that has been successfully self-expunged from their memory after a half concussed ass whooping that happened years and years ago. Cotto's inability to remember those punches by Pac are a defensive post traumatic stress memory loss in order that he continue to live his life without fear, no doubt. Barrera insists Kennedy McKinney hit him the hardest and was probably his toughest fight. Sometimes they are accurate but sometimes the aftermath is so horrific they cannot contextualize it, like Vietnam Vets.
This interview was conducted even before coto and pacquiao was signed, so there'e no way that he knew who hit harder.
Just watched the video, and it appears to be a hoax. At the 3:45 mark a lady asks him about his changes in training camp and how it's all going. Cotto ain't been back in training for anything since the Floyd fight. This interview is from something else.
