A rematch in March in Canada is now apparently confirmed.

Rematch after an interim fight for each guy. I'm anxious to see who the interim opponents will be.

As of right now I don't see the need for a rematch.

    Good news.

I wonder who Bute will fight next, hopefully someone decent.

A rematch with Bute is lose/lose for Froch.

Would much rather see a Kessler rematch but at the end of the day it is Bute's right and if he wants people to see him as a Champ he needs to force the rematch.

Translation : without giving a name, Bute told that his next opponent has a good name and has already fought for a world title.

Who could it be ? :think

Dirrell ? Bika II ? Glen Johnson II ? Green ? Balzsay ?

Also, his left eye is still injured from the fight

Dirrell would be a very credible fight, but a very tricky one. I can't see it being him though with Bute coming off such a severe loss. I'd guess it would be someone seen as a bit of an easier challenge in order to rebuild Bute's confidence.

they say in the press conference that it would be a slugger in november, so dirrell is out of question.

rumors here in montreal says it's pavlik.

Pretty big news coming from Bute's camp.
Hope the Pavlik fight remains a rumor. Pavlik has a great chance of beating Bute IMO.
For the Froch fight I just hope the level of confidence will just reverse this time and Froch underestimates Bute big time :D.
