    Marvin Hagler versus Ray Leonard.

Marvin fought 'terribly' and still won the fight in my eyes.

But still, it was a horrible performance by a fighter who was 'cooked'.

I NEVER said Hector could knock-out anybody, little own Top Bigger MW greats...

I merely stated that the much smaller Hector Camacho was also past it and a veteran fighter too at that point, so some credit was due.

    Tyson against Botha

He looked absolutely awful, really should have retired after the Holyfield losses
he didnt do much after that except cause controversy....and make Golota cry.

Botha was standing in front of Tyson and laughing at him and mocking him

Probably Ali against Larry Holmes. Shameful. Ali had no business bein' in there -- not even a shell of himself. They might just as well have put his trunks on a heavy bag.

Hagler's main problem in that fight was that he was too tentative. And although he was passed his best,he was hardly shot.

    Stevie,,,,,,,,

Don't you think Michael Nunn would have won 10 of 12 rounds against
    the 'Marvelous One' that night.

Pre-fight rumblings from the 'sparring partners'',,,,,
    a) that Marvin couldn't put anybody down
    b) he was punching with his arms only, and not getting his body into anything
    c) he was slow

Some of Sam Langfords later fights must have been prety hard to watch, for people who had seen and admired him at his best.

Good post, but that Tyson (although extremely lethargic & rusty) would've punched holes through McBride & brutally shattered his jaw into a billion pieces.

Pipino Cuevas, for being still a young man in his 20's, went on a sub-par string starting with a loss to journeyman Roger Stafford. Pipino lost 8 of his last 14 fights including some embarrassing KO losses. His legs seemed to be shot after Hearns and he didn't stand up to punches that well anymore. Even his vaunted left hook seemed to have lost some of it's power.

    janwalshs,,,,

You're not giving Roger Stafford any credit,,,,,,

He was no journeyman,,,,,,he was one crafty fighter, that earned his
stripes on the ESPN fights, and was 17-2-1 when he took on Pipino.

And Pipino wasn't shot. He got 'clocked' early by Roger, and took a few rounds to recover.
Then rallied in the middle-rounds, only to run out of gas in Round 9, and barely hang on until the end.

There are better 'worst' performances by Pipino.

March 3, 1986 - Pipino gets slapped around the ring in every round, by light-hitting Steve Little.

Cleveland Williams was literally a "shot" fighter in 1966 against Ali... He fought with a bullet inside of him that coudn't be removed, and was a shell of his former self...

Danny Williams in the last few years is more shot than anyone mentioned. Watch him against Chisora and Carl Baker
