looks like dignity isnt the only thing uncommon in cubans, a sense of humor is just as rare.

Well Casamayor vs Freitas was pretty damn good, Casamayor vs Robert Garcia was a damn good fight as well, Casamayor vs Corrales I, II & III, Casamayor vs Jose Luis Castillo, Casamayor vs Jose Armando Santa Cruz, Casamayor vs Katsidis.

All very good fights I would watch again. But then again I'm really intrigued by the technical brilliance Cuban fighters usually showcase.

Just because Bam Bam is Mexican doesn't mean his ancestor are Blacks, Spaniards or French could be the answer, do you think all the white pl are born in Usa?

wtf are you laughing at, dumbass? you arent funny at all.
who cares where im from, truth has nothing to do with where im from and ive never met a cuban who carried himself in a dignified manner. not saying there arent any, just never seen one. everyone ive ever seen acted like he was starved for attention, all loud and buffoonlike, even the educated ones. not saying it to **** you off, just an honest assessment of the breeding on the island. i know its a **** thing to say and im a dick for saying it... but its the truth.
again, the whole girlfriend thing is boring and unimaginitive. preteen humor.

good enough for these clowns to be acting like they are making some big splash on the scene? japan and argentina are just 2 countries i believe are contributing more fights to the time vault and you dont see them acting like their **** dont stink.
everyone has their own idea of what they want to see when they pony up some dough to watch a fight, the numbers that the cubans produce should be an indication of what the majority wants to spend their money on. i dont mind being the bad guy, but i dont want to be the liar, so if i lie, tell me.

Okay I get it, the Cuban style of fighting is not your cup of tea. However to answer your question, yes I believe Casamayor's career was good enough to act as the Cuban fighter of this generation to open the door and the public's minds and give a whole new crop of Cuban born fighters. Joel was one of the best fighters in the world in his prime, and one of the most popular little men in boxing.

I'm not calling you a liar, for the most part you're probably right on the money, but in this particular case with Casamayor, I think you're not lying but wrong.

point taken. i tried stating my case in a more diplomatic way but the cuban stereotype i had hoped was just coincidence allowed me to take the gloves off. funny thing is. im a fan of several cuban fighters, that doesnt mean im going to close my eyes to the reality of the situation.
