i already said i understood how it can get personal from that end, its understandable. and yes, i am going to tell you that my truth is more accurate because i drew it from evidence while yours comes from simple denial.

For over 50 years we Cubans in the exile root for our cousins from PR, Panama, Argentina, Mexico and even the few Nicaraguans that made and impact in professional sport, now we have a trickle of our countrymen making some noise and we are not aloud to cheer for them? Like in any other sport some fans will go the extra mile to root for their athletes, others like me will enjoy the ride until is finish but I'll not let anyone go without a proper response.

garfios, you are the strongest evidence against what i have posted about cubans. you have conducted yourself with dignity, although a bit whiny, in the face of the offensive opinions i have posted, my respect.

You see you are calling whiny, why? I haven't go all out calling names and offending or cursing, it is an exchange of opinions I even gave you a good advice because those same ppl that have no dignity will find it very fast if you tell them that they don't have none... Good Night buddy and remember that two, three or even four dozen doesn't make a nation with 11 millions, a nation that so many Martyrs, Maceo, Marti, and thousands and thousands of others.
PS. I respect all opinions it doesn't matter how offensive they are.

To support my earlier post. I was there live at the last lara fight. There was at most 10 cubans that I saw. I know the figure is most likely higher, but as far as what I saw, 10 the most and that is being generous.

What did I see? Mostly all mexican crowd. That says alot, being that the big names were afro american or cubans
Mexicans and ricans are easier to market, especially mexicans. Hence why some mex fighters are fed with a golden spoon, they simply bring in the money. Just the way it is..

The fight was in Indio california, California for God sake, California is Mexico... Bring the event to South Miami and you will only see Cubans and 10 Mexicans.

It was only a question, you draw too many conclusions from so little but good luck to you...
Ps. I was given 20 years back in Cuba because I dind't "agreed" with the Goverment, I lost two uncles because they didn't agreed either, I have seen so many friends going too that I had learn to stand for what I believe not for what others believe.

then you sound like a man i could respect on equal terms, i also lost my freedom for a while, although, for reasons not so noble. im also ready to risk it all for what i belive in, luckily, i believe in much more enduring things than i once did. i strive to be a better man every day while recognizing all my failings just as easily as i do in others. simply put, im imperfect, but well aware of it.
