For an ESPN card I think this is a good one. No big names but the match ups are interesting.

Fortuna-Cruz: Fortuna is a nice prospect and should win but Cruz is a tough, experienced, veteran. Past his best but seems to still have enough left to test Fortuna.

Abdulsalamov-Byram: We usually complain that prospects don't face off enough but here they do. I don't think either of these guys are going to go on to do big things but both are decent enough prospects and I think this should be a nice fight. I haven't seen a lot of both but I think Byram pulls off the mild upset.

Cristobal Cruz is rarely in a bad fight. In fact, I can't think of one fight where he didn't push the action and make it entertaining. He is well past his best, but won't lose due to a lack of effort.

I've only seen Abdusalamov once, and he was fairly impressive against limited opposition. He could be a prospect to keep an eye on. I'm not sure about Brynum.

The heavyweights are the reason to watch tonight! I get tired of the countless never ending line of midget's that get the attention. I love Middleweight and welterweight and all that **** but sometimes you just wanna see 2 big guys beat each other up.

Fortuna is gonna be a future star and dangerous featherweight or super featherweight,he wants the big names afterwards and so does his trainer pablo sarmiento.Sarmientoe has martinez at middleweight and fortuna at featherweight, pretty good combination.

Agreed, they have gone downhill compared to last year. I have been watching ESPN boxing since Top Rank days with Al Bernstein, Sam Rosen, Barry Tompkins, Dave Bontempo, etc those were the days of some good ESPN boxing.

yea espn fights are usually wack . the only reason i watch them is imbetween fights when they go to the studio.

the only time i was hyped for FNF was coleman vs paris and holt vs coleman

Yea, Fortuna is a solid prospect coming off nice wins to Mikey Roman and Evans, Cruz is a tough vet. Exciting Russian HW prospect Abdulsalamov in co-feature against toughest test to date,
