I for one am completely shocked at this development. Golovkin is someone who actually has been avoided, whereas Quillin merely likes to pretend that description applies to him as he turns down fights with legitimate middleweights and takes on Golden Boy's dregs.

Why are you guys angry at Quillin? He has his own path to a title.

And Triple G is a beast, he whooped Bute in the amateurs.

His path to a title seems to be collecting Haymon paydays for beating overmatched opponents in fights no one cares about and then acting like all of the top middleweights are scared of him.

Is there a problem with that, get money, get wins, when the time is right get the title.

His ratio of words to actions is starting to rival Vanes'.

Quillin is not ready to take a serious test yet, he should lay low for the next 3-4 years and then take small steps to journeymen opponents and eventually, title eliminators.
Let's not ruin another young boxer by rushing him.

That doesn't surprise me one bit, and I can't blame him either.
Problem is, we're missing out on a lot of good fights and at the end of the day people are going to blame GGG for not having many big names on his record while he's being avoided like the plague.
