    On paper, he rank up there but not TOP 10 ATG...

    There's no way in the world he's top 10 imo.

    An ATG to be sure but I'd say he's more likely top 25.

    I do not think he is in the top 25, that is the 25 best fighters ever, the 25 most exceptional fighters to ever lace them up. I think the top 25 should be for the creme de la creme of the sport. I say maybe top 35-40 . . . that's not saying he ain't great but I do not see him as truly exceptional. Top 4 MW ever behind MMH, Monzon and Greb. Third best fighter since Pernell after PBF and Manny . . . great, great fighter but no way shape of form top 10 ATG

    I'd say you overshot a bit. His longevity is impressive, but I'd say closer to top 50 than top 10.

    Time will tell, his last title win trumps foreman's "old man title win" since it was for the lineal. Outside my top 10 though.

    Who's the best Hopkins has beat at their best weight? Part time movie star Tarver? Pascal? How is that the resume of a top 10 ATG? maybe because of his legendary trilogy with Robert Allen?

    Hopkins is top 30, but not top 10. Had he beat Dawson, maybe. He didn't beat the top stars in the MW division, except for Trinidad who was moving up in weight.

    He beat Wright, another MW moving up to LHW.

    Many people forget he fought Bernard only in his 22nd pro fight... they were both young and were learning. Many people use word 'prime roy' very freely. When was Roy really at his peak? It's hard to say. He was spectacular for 13 years (1989 - 2003) and if he didn't move down from HW to LHW we wouldn't have had to say good bye to Superman.
