at first i thought he shoulda accepted . but he already was in talks wit rubio. i think rubio just came off a win. so the rubio fight he was already pursuing n the fight was goin to be on his terms.

and the other fight was in short term notice the only good reason to decline. unless they really werent giving him the kinda money he wanted. or hes scared. he could be scared of not havin a full training camp to prepare 4 this guy cuz GGG is no joke .

I think Quillin is going to be a beast at 160. Key words going to be. I think he needs one more fight before he takes on someone like Golovikn or Martinez. Right now it's a smart move.

    Quillin is a coward.

    GGG would crush him.

I am a fan of GGG, i was really excited about the Pirog fight.. Whether he is ducking GGG or not, i am not to judge.. Bottom line is that it is disapointing, i really wanted to see Golovkin on the big scene, because i believe that he has the potential to do great things..

It would have been awesome if Quillin could have stepped in, but i don't blame him and his team for not taking the fight..
As a fan of both Golovkin and The Klitschkos i hope that you ignore Vladimir23, and don't hate either GGG or the Klits because of him..

Agree. GGG is amazing. I DO Blame Quillin for turning down this fight though.

If he doesn't have the confidence to go against GGG now, that's not the mindset of a future champion.

I don't think that either Quillin or his team likes his chances against GGG.. But you're right, if he had a "I want to be the man" mindset, he would have taken the fight..
But not anyone has as big balls as Carl Froch :)

Whatever the reason for Qullin/Camp not accepting, if they fought tomorrow, I think GGG wins. I think Qullin's camp knows that as well, and the very least they know GGG is levels above a faded Wright, making him at least BIG risk.

If the money wasn't right, or something in the contract wasn't fair I can't blame Qullin, but if it was a fair contract through and through, GGG made Quillin look shook.
