Hennessy is a terrible promoter

    The fight with Maddalone, as poor as it is, has been awfully promoted by Hennessy. I've not seen any sort of mainstream mention of the bout and even on ESB or other boxing sites, absolutely nobody is talking about it. There's no thread on here about the weigh in or anything like that. It's pathetic.

    Hennessy has got the best TV deal in all of British boxing but giving him that contract is like giving Stevie Wonder a Ferrari. It's no use. He doesn't deserve such great exposure and the sad thing is, this great opportunity to get boxing back on terrestrial TV is going to waste.

    None of his fights are attracting mainstream interest, boxing fans aren't discussing them and the events don't seem to be selling that well either. Hennessy is the only guy in boxing who could be given such a great opportunity and yet do **** all with it.

    He was shocked fury was fighting.

    Yeah, I didn't think the fight was for another couple of weeks yet. I've been kind of busy lately but even so, it should still have come to my attention given that I regularly check out boxing sites. Hennessy did an equally bad jab for Fury's last fight, which also came out of nowhere.

    3,000 tickets sold is quite impressive considering tickets went on sale 4 weeks ago.

    Have they weighed in? I was curious to see Fury’s weight

    As an aside, fury got **** for this fight but at least they aren't making it out to be a big deal

    this is the worst terrestial fight of all time, seriously wtf is the point in all this.

    Plus is it wrong to laugh at the bottom picture, from the shorts to the other guy wearing ripped up jeans to a weigh in, make an effort guys.


    this fight sucks ass and i wont even bother recording it, if this fight was in my front garden i would shut my curtains.

    Hennessy knows it's another **** fight for Fury. Putting it out in the public and over-hyping Fury beating another tomato can will just annoy.

    Hennessy is still a joke.

    To be fair, its not exactly a big fight, much more buzz around him and Rogan. Seems that Kid Galahad's last fight got more tv ads.

    Just watched Ringside. I didn't know about the Fury fight until Adam Smith mentioned it on SKY!

    Terrible promotion. Why did Froch leave Hennesy again?
