Nice pix by the OP. Looks like the Duran part from his fight vs Carlos Palomino :good Duran jumped from LW to WW, skipping 140. Carlos was a top fighter and Roberto beat him easily.

Very close at 154, would give RD a slight edge.

 

At 154, Duran would still beat him. In his prime at lightweight-ww, Floyd would not stand a chance. Duran is one the best fighters ever, maybe top 5, even. Just a different level. There is nothing Floyd has that Duran could not deal with.

 

Im sure Floyd would have fought him right after Hearns Koed him .He'd never fight the best Duran that much we know .

I pick duran over floyd 135-147, 154 im not sure, I kind of favour floyd there but there would be a big problem getting floyd in the ring with roberto, and also duran wouldnt take floyds antics like all his opponents do, he would be even more pissed than he was with srl.
I actually think floyd wouldnt like the thought of fighting duran, he would be on the lookout even more than he was for margarito in that one vid.

It's funny when comparing past greats to currents greats, there's almost an overwhelming bias toasted the past greats, as if they were unbeatable. Mayweather wins unanimously at any weight. Mayweather is 1 inch taller, has a 6 inch reach advantage, has better footwork, has faster hands, has a better defense, that's a lot for Duran to over overcome. Duran may have a bigger heart and balls but his only real advantage is his power. Duran could box, but he was a brawler 1st, and was most successful when guys stood right in front of him. Mayweathers has too many dimensions for Duran, and when you truly look at their measurables Mayweather is not only physically bigger, but he's also the more skilled of the two, Mayweather takes him.
