I definitely agree. . 7 months is too long. . . But I think Grant is at the stage now where he just wants to take payday fights, rather than take 3-4 fights a year to try to get a K-bro shot. . . I think he knows that train has passed. .

I just think Grant would be ideal to get Mago acclimated with fighting 6'6''+ guys, which the HW division is chock full of these days. . .

    Magomed is a beast.

I'd like to see him fight Arreola. It would be a very exciting match up.

However, Arreola is a coward and refuses to fight anyone dangerous:-:)-:)mad:

    This. . .

It's highly unrealistic, but wishful thinking. . .

Well, it's been confirmed, Jennings bitched. . .

But to be fair, maybe Mago should fight a guy like Liakhovich first. . . Somebody on his level. . I'd argue Liakhovich is a better win than Byarm, simply because of the experience level. . .

But it basically all boils down to Mago being a HUUUGEE RISK, and not much reward. . Or at least not much in the eyes of Jennings, and his team, and mainstream boxing fans who don't really know Mago, and would just assume he's another guy with a Padded KO record.

    **** YES!

First, I'd like to see Mago take on Travis Walker type to prove he's ready for Arreola's power. . . Arreola is a slightly more refined version of Travis Walker, IMO. . Arreola really does have better boxer/puncher skills than cerdited for. . He's just so fat, and jiggly it detracts from what is sometimes nice combination punching.

So. . . Travis Walker first, and then Arreola (if he's down)!

Since Jennings is out of the question it looks like. . .

Yeah I wouldnt expect Jennings to have a small ego. I expect him to have that type of superior attitude,it's good for his confidence I guess.
I would love to see a fight between him and Mago.

Yeah it would be good to warm him up to taller fighters. Hopefully he stays away from bums like that Big Sky guy...what's his name?

Yeah that's him. Tye Dye Fields, that big *****! Yeah Mago dont need that dude as an opponent. Plus,Tye Dye has already been KO'd like 15 times and the dude must have a brain like mush so it would be good to pick a guy who is somewhat presentable. I could live with Grant,Arreola.

What other tall guys out there though? Deontay Wilder is already booked to fight Kelvin Brock...I mean Kelvin Price or Kevin Price or some ****. Not good with names today.

I think Arreola would be a decent enough opponent. The last Arreola fight I saw he had shed a few pounds. He seemed a little slower but he could keep up a sustained workrate. Also, I think Arreola would be an easier television deal.

If not him, maybe Sam Peter. Peter seems fairly durable. If El Mago could make him disappear quickly it would be saying something. I haven't looked at any ratings in a while but I guess that Peter is probably ranked higher than Grant.

Grant has a recognizable name and his size make him a good candidate.

Rahman, former champ, probably can still throw a wicked right hand. But if Abdusalamov makes him vanish quickle critics will say that Rahman was shot. Which actually might be true.

Albert Sosnowski---two former kickboxers from eastern Europe. Hmmm. Sosnowski did last a while vs Vitali Klitschko but he didn't fare too well in the prizefighter tournament. Still he's a former title challenger who managed to last longer than most expected.

your bias is sickening against Lewis

    but hey
