has there EVER been a time where the heavyweight champ was not shown in the US?

They're dominating. The issue is WHO they are dominating and HOW.

    It's just not exciting.

This fight IS SHOWN IN AMERICA! #1 Epix has it. Many people have EPIX.
#2.The fight will air live in Times Sqaure in New York (my hood) on the jumbo tron.
#3.The Vitali-Chisora fight was recently aired on normal TV on the MSG network and even received Newspaper promotion. I suppose this Wlad-Thompson fight will get similar treatment.

OMG, are you a Klit fan too. Jesus Christ.

TELEVISED FOR PAY and AIRED are VERY DIFFERENT. How many people are gonna watch it if they have to pay? Maybe a 100,000? If it was being AIRED, on a major NETWORK, millions would watch.

You and Wlad23 or w/e his name is are stupid.

Again, you have to PAY FOR THE FIGHT in some form.

Like I said, when something is TELEVISED, it's on a channel that LOTS OF PEOPLE NORMALL HAVE. I know people pay for HBO and Showtime, but I bet this channel you are talking about it not even CLOSE to pulling in the amount of subscribers that HBO and Showtime command.

Get off my ****ing nuts. I am right, you just mad that the fight is so shitty no one picked up rights. No HBO, Showtime, ESPN, NBC Sports, etc.

It's AVAILABLE to be seen in the U.S. but it's not really being aired or televised by anyone major. Also, to the EPIX clowns, EPIX is not a television channel. It's an online source.

I'm done using my brain to argue over this nonsense.

They actually got good numbers on HBO, an they played early on saturday, but HBO are looking for PPV cash cows, i think they made the mistake of not taking advantage of there undercard by hyping a european fighter
