Finally Mayorga is back, he'll get beat but boy will he earn that paycheck. Cant wait for the build up.

 

My thoughts exactly. Should hve called off the fight unless they found a decent opponent instead of claiming "history" . The only history that will occur that night is when Don tells his boy " hey history, it's your turn to go to the ring now"

Maybe he's confused, and he's signing to fight Oscar on the undercard. Maybe Oscar plans on making the card a circus act that you can't miss. Its the only way to compete with TR's fight on the 15th. Maybe they should see if Tyson will come out of retirement and fight Holyfield that night too.

On a more serious note, if this is true, its a shame, the opponent pool may be shallow at the moment, but there is still far better than this ****.

Sad. Before getting excited, just remember that Mayorga doesn't fight anymore because he wants to win. He gives up his purse in exchange for staying out of prison. It sounds more like he's a slave.

Yes, though I'd call it a little bit more than a rumor since it was revealed through a leaked diplomatic cable. He was accused of **** and then poof - it went away.
