Round 3

Proksa is still landing accurate lefts to the body and dropping his head below the strike zone and out of harm's way. Hope is finding it difficult to touch him, as Proksa zips off to the side with his feet kicked apart wide and hips splayed. Daredevil moves by Proksa, and left hands landing up and down on Hope. Game reply from Hope, breaking his guard and tossing shots whenever Proksa quiets down, but unable to find a home for them.

Round 4

Proksa is letting himself get a bit untidy, throwing wide left hands and right hooks from outside but still beating Hope to the punch and using quick defensive head movements to ensure that he doesn't get hit while leaping in and out with his arms down except to punch. Hope is trying, but failing.

Round 5

Proksa is circling left and putting up his right jab, taking a bit of a breather round. Hope gets himself organized, coming forward at a more measured pace with his left glove tucked up under his chin. Big windmilled left by Hope misses. Proksa keeps circling and sticking the jab, backhanded up from his hip. Proksa digging right hooks to the side of the head from medium range. 1-2 by Hope, pushing Proksa back to the ropes. Hope trots out to his left, ducks a Proksa left hand and pops a short 1-2. Right hand slap to the body by Hope.

Round 6

Nice right hook turned over by Proksa, into the grill of Hope. A bit of jabbing to the body and shouldering in to press against Proksa as Hope applies the steady pressure. Proksa is slapping him almost open-handed in the face with right hooks. Hope leaps in with a left uppercut, grazing the forearms of Proksa as he tips back and scissors his legs. Proksa is landing counters fluidly off the backfoot like quick wrecking balls with his hands down at all times. Hope is lunging with the 1-2 to the chest but unable to pin Proksa to the ropes. Quick left uppercut by Proksa to get free. The ref pauses to check a cut on Hope's ear, making sure there isn't any internal bleeding. Time in. Quick right hook by Proksa, grinning at Hope.

Darren Barker is trashing both fighters. He says they both neglect the basics. He says "do you think this is proper European level? I don't. They both look terrible and I picture myself in there as an opponent for either and it's just too easy".

That would be Darren Barker, who's earned the right to say whatever about whoever (at least at this level) and who legitimately would toy with either of them.

 

Round 7

Hope is hurt by a right hook as Proksa continues to circle from a couple of feet off and jump in with quick mercurial shots from out of nowhere, keeping his intentions hidden as his fists are sheathed behind his hips on the way in. Hope is trying to catch him in on the way in with short combos but finding him too sneaky and slippery.
