I think Brook just needs a good trainer to work on his stamina. He needs a top trainer to take him to the next level, and perhaps go the Khan route.

You really just said that about manny pacquiao's best friend. Someone who happens to be a freddie roach fighter. The school where they train you to take uppercuts to the chin.:patsch

Peterson didn't have that high of a workrate.

Fair enough. He did recieve a **** load of hype. Especially for a guy who's 28 fights into his career and a Carson Jones is the best fighter he's been put in with - in which he barely scrapes by with a win.

The thing that's gonna' annoy me now is that, because of this close brush with defeat, he'll be protected for another year or so now.

    Steward?

Which sucks because I can see him beating someone like Devon Alexander easily. Carson tried to swarm Kellz. Swarmers generally give "boxers" trouble.

Canelo would tear him apart. Kell wouldn't walk away with just a broken nose. how about puffed up broken cheeks and a damaged eye socket.

Even though it looked like he was pacing himself come the 8th round it was clear to see he'd done a little too much for where his stamina is right now. Sure he took some body shots but not the kind to totally zap a guys energy.
The reflexes went and his punches lacked snap, Jones was walking straight through most of them.

He's got just over a year or so before facing the top guys of the division, better get his **** together.

I don't agree, kell was getting hit at will vs jones. Alexander has skills. Especially being a southpaw which will make it awkward for kell, also he has good handspeed and decent power. I would favour alexander, just.

Kellz knows how to fight lefties.:yep He would be able to comfortably use his jab, his best punch, against Devon.

Kell still makes the division interesting regardless. Maybe Jones is improving as well? They're both young. Not everyone has to look like Mayweather every time out, it was an exciting fight and people are still bitching :-(

naw he trained hard for this fight and deserve credit, Jones was losing the first half of the fight and closed well after Brook nose got broken

    Yup :yep.

Devon also seems to struggle with boxers. Stylistically he matches up well for Brook. But because Hearn will be wrapping him up in cotton wool for now, don't expect that fight to happen this year.
