Nothing about Proksa convinces me Darren won't stop him inside 10. He'd better had, because as much as I like Darren,I worry that even I'd be able to catch him late.
I like unorthodox boxers with some dramatic flair but I just don't see Proksa in this form today, beating Barker. If he focuses on using his handspeed to create opportunities instead of doing the Naz type attacks, he could utilize his gifts much better. However, his right hook has really come along, very impressed and it looks like his stamina problem has been solved. I just don't see him beating a better schooled boxer like Barker.
Proksa is slicker - but slickness is a style, not a skill. Barker is overall the much more skilled boxer...and physically & mentally stronger.
Proksa too much speed, variety and creativity and overwhelms Barker. Proksa should def be the favorite with the type of arsenal he has. People here are judging Barker based on a single fight, where he did better than expected but got ktfo for trying to be better than he is.
Oh yeah! Just like he dominated Affif Belghecham or Domenico Spada . Barker is so confident because he knows the fight would be propably in UK with Hearn behind him (though Hearn is also Proksa's promotor but doesnt give a **** about him IMO). Even if it would be close Barker would win it something lik 116-113 115-113 115-113. Damn I'd like to see this in Poland. You cant accuse Poland of home decisions after last RJJ fight against Glazewski :deal .
This fight would clearly be in the UK given Proksa's history of fights and his promoter plus Barkers drawing power in his own country. If this fight happens Proksa needs to insist on non-UK and experienced judges.
...and thus is the consensus of those not residing in a certain country (or descended from those who do) :deal
