Manny stops him late. Carson isn't anything special, and had he upped his work rate in the first few rounds he would have won clearly.

They come on as their opponent tires from punching them in the face for 5 or so rounds

 

The thing is though, compared to a lot of heavy hitters (Maidana and a plastered up Margo being good examples), Carson really doesn't hit that hard at all. And he still managed to bust Kell up and take him out of his comfort zone. Not good signs, especially against a sharper puncher like Manny.
