[ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YGevH5GuYhE[/ame] It's a shame when a lazy scumbag hood is given good talent, this guy could have had somethin Jane Couch saw this idiot smokin a feg outside the MEN right before he was due in to fight Hatton, and he was busy gettin pissed the week before.
Yep remember Eamonn walking to ring with Tricolor sunglasses on. He didn't even train properly for this from what i've heard. Guy was talented but mentally didn't have what it took. Tough guy though, Remember him winning via a robbery against Shea Neary. Well i thought it was a robbery back then but i was a kid, like to see that fight again actually..
Had some chin on him as well. Always wondered why him and Witter never met think I asked this before on here.
all that rubbish about the ref saving him. vann just misjudged it on jumping in. tbf to vann his head went between the ring ropes. which is why jumped in. always struggled with southpaws did rick. one of the reasons i didn't wanna see him fight pac. :yep
IRA related lol... He got his legs done for bein a scumbag, getting shot by them is the be all end of all of his IRA "relation"
It's pretty awful to be fair as for him not being mentally tough enough for it, I think its more that he didn't have the discipline to do a decent training camp and avoid the drink and the baccy and the drugs, mentally, physically, and chinwise, he was hard as nails.
One of the best nights boxing i've ever been to this. IIRC Farnell got beat in the first Groenwald fight, and Gomez got took apart by Kevin Lear (What a prospect he looked by the way)
eamon is a legend, he was the laziest boxer though and i have heard this from lads who trained with him i was also told from an old coach that ****** promised eamon nearly 50% more of the guaranteed purse if he was unsuccessful in the fight
