Nothing yet, which was my point. We don't know Abdusalamov can take a Ruiz shot any more than we know Ruiz can take an Abdusalamov shot. What we do know is that Ruiz (with better accuracy and speed) can get to Abdusalamov's chin before Abdusalamov can get to Ruiz's.

Ruiz also works the body better.

We don't know Abdusalamov would KO Willis, and we don't know Ruiz wouldn't KO all of Abdusalamov's past opponents. Until they have one in common...

So? Abdusalamov isn't exactly an Adonis. Granted, Ruiz is ridiculously, borderline disgraceful fat, but... How is that really important?

Anthony Flores vs. Cameron Krael, 4 rounds @ light welterweight

 

Round 1

Flores is working that body. Quick left hooks. Krael is DOWN!! On his knees in the corner. Takes the count to eight and a half before getting up. BIG left hooks to the body by Flores. Krael is covering up and leaning against the ropes. Krael tries to hook his way off. Flores doesn't let him. BIG digs to the body. RIGHT HAND UP TOP BY FLORES as Krael drops his guard out of necessity with a hole being ripped in his body. Flores "working the heavy bag" as the play by play announcer aptly puts it. Krael gets his guard up and circles away. Long left jab by Krael, cautiously sticking to the outside. Krael navigates past the ropes as Flores purees his body some more.

Anthony is the brother of fellow unbeaten Inglewood prospect Eric Flores, who appeared earlier on the card taking a 4 round UD over Ray Nichol.

Both seem to be heavy-handed, but Anthony already looks better...more polished. And he's got one less pro bout than Eric.

 

Round 2

Big combos by Flores, going to the body. Quick penetrating jabs to the orange-and-black two-tone fluffy mohawk (yes, you read that correctly) of Krael. Flores is staying on the outside, waiting to see what Krael is going to do. Not much. Double jabs up top, and a right to the body by Flores. Krael parries some jabs and backs out far enough to try a 1-2. Flores leans and weaves through it and rips the body with a pair of hooks and a right. Another hook up top by Flores. 1-2 by Krael, timing it to land just as Flores had dropped his gloves on the outside. Double jab up top by Flores. Krael circles left and puts a few jabs out into Flores' guard.
