He looked sharp, but then again it'd have been pretty bad if he didn't; Maddalone is a can, and Fury did what he had to do. I want to see Fury against a better opponent soon.
fought a punch bag but was the best he's ever looked imo, used the jab well and threw straighter punches and kept the fight at a distance.
Fury looked good, regardless of the opponent. He threw good, tight, textbook combinations. And landed hard, clean shots. He really kept his combos compact. His defense was good as well. Maddolone never came close with the big overhand shots. I'd say he looked like a top five heavyweight.
His showboating was hilariously clumsy as always but he boxed very well. The post fight interview was ambitous
He "looked" like a God Damn ****** with those stupid ass shorts he had on. Where are his boys...I mean the cats that keep you grounded? How does someone not say "Champ, he man you know your my dude, and I know you'd kick my ass...but man I can't as a friend let you go out there looking like that."
based on the opposition he was facing he looked sharp...but lets be honest vinny was 38 years old while tyson is 23 and he was like 5 inches taller maybe more and had like a 10inch reach advantage....he moves pretty good in the ring for his size and established a pole like jab...he put combos tgether crisp and quick with pop...lets not forget it was vinny maddalone
he beats adamek easily ass i see adamek on the decline anyway..ill give him to more fights against 5-10 comp before putting him in with k2
Exactly good post you nailed it, Fury pissed me off with the Klitcshko are ducking him comment he made
I can't believe they let him go out there with those ridiculous shorts. I don't recommend coming over to the US looking like that. He'll get laughed at.
