I have to say I was following Ruiz Jr closely for a while- and I've heard his declarations of getting in shape etc...
But he hasn't come through. Thats why I might be a bit critical of him.

And I probably should be more critical of Abdusalamov but his 15 fight/15 KO record makes me think hes something special (because Ike Quartey had one like that too)

 

Right now I see an over matched guy doing all the right things. J don't think it will be enough

Rosinski still seems to have a full tank of gas, as he skeets around the ring, looking for his opportunities to jump in with combinations. Heads clash as Roskinski tries to transition inside, and Pavlik has a small cut opened up over his eye. Looks like they have it ruled caused by a punch. . Could have been, but they had a solid calsh of heads. . Either way, Pavlik still took the round with his power punches.

I didn't say you scored it for him. I'm referencing the judge. I do remember doing the Tessitore incredulous eyebrow raise/constipated grin when I read your scores though. I think some people scored that fight based on Vazquez Junior doing surprisingly well more than actually winning the rounds but whatever.

 

Pavlik looks to be done as a top fighter.
