Round 8: 10-9 Roskinski.

Pavlik took off for longer parts of this round, and allowed Rosinski to get off some fluid combinations, some of which landed flush. Pavlik still found that left hook, and right hook this round, around the back-side of Roskinski's elbows. . . But Pavlik's work, and clean punches were few, and far between, while Roskinski kept a steady work rate, and moved his hands enough to match his foot movement this round. .

10-9 Roskinsski; 77-74 Pavlik.

 

A few days ago.

 

IMO, and most of us, he is. . But Roskinski has been moving his hands, and landing some pretty looking combinations. . I'm just saying, I just hav a feeling the judges might favor Roskinski here as he looks more fluid (and I think they might indirectly be influenced by his wife - the ole "we want to please her" and "don't want to let her down" haha i don't know, just a weird possibilty). . . And some of the middle rounds were kind of close. . .

 

props to pavlik for getting his life back together and getting back in top top shape. impressive.

 

Kelly had a good jab he needs to use it more.

KP pressing hard left to the body. hard right to body of Wil Right hand from will. Left hook from Will. Trade right hands KP lands a hard left to the body. KP with two lefts to the body. two right hands from KP. Will lands a 4 punch combo and KP comes back hard with hard rights. Hard right from KP at the end of the round.

Round 9

Rosinsky is circling to the left and pawing his jab out. Pavlik pressures him, cornering him, landing right uppercuts and left hooks. Rosinsky is grinding inside with his head above Pavlik's belt, whacking away to the sides with both hands. Pavlik isn't even feeling his body shots, and is chopping away with right hands. Rosinsky is trying to counter hook Pavlik from out of a crouch, but not quite able to do it as Pavlik stays upright and too tall for him. 26 to 11 connect edge for Pavlik this round.

Going to go out on a limb and say Pavlik TKO's Rosinsky in the 10th?? Please boxing gods, satisfy our quench for blood and let a knockout occur.

You can tell Rosinsky probably watched the Hopkins tapes. In those middle rounds he was having success ambushing him on the inside before circling out.

Pavlik kept the fight at his preferred distance more, and inhibited Rosinski from getting inside, and getting off with his combinations. Story of the fight: Pavlik landed more hard shots.
