    Pavlik defended and countered pretty well early on in the fight, so if he concentrates on maintaining his focus and using the jab consistently, he could do well when he steps up in competition.

    Pavlik isn't satisfied with the performance. He says he didn't get off as quickly as he wanted or counter punch as well as he planned to in camp. He says he put on a good 10 round fight for the fans, so whatever. No use crying over spilled milk, basically.

    He says it goes to show he's still a young guy, and can beat these up and coming prospects because he's a high caliber fighter. He says not to take away from Will, but with big fights coming up he can't be performing this poorly anymore once he steps back up to top class.

    He doesn't need that many more of this level of tune up, he says.

    He says the KD came from a short clipping right hand to the chin, on the button. He says he worked on it in training camp and there were other points in the fight he could have landed it but he got lazy and didn't.

    He says the big guys he's looking for are: Froch, Bute, Ward, Dawson.

    He says it might not be for a while, but he's gotta make a move.


    He's got to go back to the drawing board and work on a lot with Robert (Garcia).

    I think he beats Bute because he can't take a punch Kelly would wear him down and stop him. He would lose to Froch Kessler and ward though.
