    You take Pavliks biggest fights: Taylor x2, Miranda, Hopkins, Martinez. He official went 3-2 in those.. I Had Taylor winning the 2nd fight.

    He was never the most skilled fighter, but he was determined as hell pre-Hopkins beatdown.

    He's never really gotten back that determination.

    I'd argue he wasn't truly elite, despite his win over Taylor... and remember Taylor basically had him out before getting caught.

    Yes and No.

    Yes because as you said he could very well grind Bute down.
    No because Bute would be the biggest(physically) biggest(power) wise guy Kelly has faced.

    Pavlik protects his head well. Not great but well. His body he tends to ignore. Bute is still one of the top body punchers in the game. Not sure Pavlik can handle that type of power shot to the body.

    I would love to watch it. Pavlik is no Froch. Might be too slow for Bute.

    I would favor Bute slightly.
