    Why not a huge crowd? Oh wait cause he's fighting the weakest champ at 122?

    Place should be packed for this sluggfest

    He's a boring boxer.Because he doesn't throw a lot of punches.

    I noticed this way early in his career.It's become a bad habit.

    he fights in a little man division, doesn't have a terribly fan friendly style, and isn't from an ethnic group that is too crazy about boxing. what did you expect

    I was at the fight. Maybe 2,000 people in the 8,000 seat Home Depot Center in Carson. Maybe 300-400 Filipinos in attendance to watch a Filipino P4P great, and Carson is one of the largest Filipino communities in the U.S. :patsch

    I'd say the majority of the crowd was Latino, maybe 75%. There were more whites than blacks in the crowd.

    The real crowd was next door at the Chivas soccer match.

    I salute all you Latino fans, the best fans of boxing. There were more of you cheering for Nonito than there were Filipinos.
