I think Garcia is the wrong coach for him. He did a lot better with his damned jab. I understand that Garcia wants him to develop more with the left but damned, the jab still works. Bring back Loew. Garcia ain't hacking it.

Pavlik is just way too slow for the elite level. Hopkins was faster than him. Come on now.

I was so frustrated watching him tonight. He looked good at times and at others he looked only so-so. He got beat up quite a bit although I think he did win. That dude he fought was pretty decent.

Pardon the expression but Pavlik's performance tonight was like being jerked off without the orgasm. Ya know? a little Beef Strokenoff without the gravy so to speak.

I thought he did ok tonight, I was expecting a little more. He should maybe be thinking of going down to 160 pounds though.

I still think that Kelly Pavlik has the potential to return to an elite level. However, he appears to be too lazy to do so.

Kelly was doing better when he jabbed. He should have been able to beat Rosinsky with his jab alone with maybe an occasional right thrown in.

Did you listen to his post fight interview? He sounded like he was just happy to be still boxing after 12 years of being pro.

He looked better here than he has in a while. This is a different weight he is not or will be the same as he was at 160. That double the jab **** would do nothing to one of the top smw's.

He still has his power and some basic skills but hes content to fighting this level of opposition so he doesnt have to force the fight, he seems to just want to cruise a lot of the time

Guaranteed the top tier guys will beat him, I even think Arthur Abraham has a shot

Yes he can make a good fight with some of the big boys at 168. Froch won't be moving around as much and a fight with Pavlik (a guy with a good punch and good fighter mentality) would be an entertaining scrap. Ward would absolutely school him on the inside unless Kelly can land one of those game changing punches. Bute would be a little tricky on the outside but I won't put too much stock in him after his last fight, a winnable fight for Pavlik in my opinion. In the end all I can say is there are a lot wosre matches being made from time to time in boxing, I think Kelly is still relevant at the moment.
