You're a boxing fan but you actively went out of your way NOT to watch a fight, based on some terminology used by morons on a forum? That's real cool man. Reeeeeeeal cooooool.
Some of us have things to apart from sitting around watching boxing all day. I watch a lot of boxing, but Brook was not on my radar because I knew he was a hypejob. I'd rather spend my time watching boxers that interest me more.
Not sure about that. He's a better counter-puncher and doesn't throw as rushed, but I doubt Khan would have had quite the same trouble as Brook. Jones was game for sure and would have given him a good fight, but I don't see him taking that kind of punishment. The experience marks the difference.
:thumbsup There is good reason as to why the Brits are recognized as being the most prone to overhyping any C level piece of **** fighter who comes along.
Really interesting and honest interview with Eddie Hearn after the fight... [YT]bMW6XdI5nL0&feature=relmfu[/YT]
thing is Brook relies on his reflexes to defend he has no block at all, so once a fighter pressures him or he gets tired hes ****ed
This. He needs to tighten it up and learn to pace himself better. No-one should be writing him off, the boy can box.
Well hes targeting the IBF held by Randa Bailey who will most likely lost it to Devon Alexander . . . . so probably him
