Just because Donaire is Filipino and you're a ****ING ***** doesn't mean you'll Hate everything Donaire does. Why the hate? Three judges gave Mathebula a total of 3 or four rounds. You're just a ****ing nobody. You don't know how to score a fight.

Donaire seemed bored in there. Defensive/negative fighters make him look ordinary.

Some of you need to watch more boxing matches and learn what it is that actually wins them. You will definitely enjoy the sport a lot more that way instead of coming up with your own scoring criteria and being disappointed each and every weekend. How this fight in particular is being debated is beyond me, the most one sided fight being called a robbery since I joined this site.

I bet you thought Pacquiao was robbed against Bradley.

I had Donaire winning also. But the official cards where off.

I also agree that Donaire seems content in being flashy instead of boxing which he has mountain of skills and ability to do so. If he focused on boxing he would get more KOs. That is how he got Darch, Sydorenko and Montiel. Not one of this 1-2 bomb counter combos he likes to throw every 10-15 seconds.

He needs to relax and be himself in the ring and focus.

That's funny, some people had him winning when even Mathebula thought he lost the fight.

Mathebula was gracious afterward, saying: “The better man won.”

as one poster have mentioned...he seems to fight down to the level of his opponent

i'd really like him to fight someone he respects...he usually shines in those fights

Too many guys on this site give fighters credit for not throwing punches. I thought Donaire won the last 2 to edge it, but he was being badly outboxed for long stretches.

Anyone who had that fight for Mathebula is a ******.

It wasn't a blowout, but clear Donaire win. Very clear.

Mathebula wasn't really negative. He just wasn't getting into exchanges. He was by far the busier guy.

Donaire's 28. Getting old in this game. He's in a real hurry to become a PPV draw, which is why he LOOKS for the KO killshot in every fight. If he stopped looking, he'd get the KO more.

I talked a bunch of **** after the Bradley fight, but it was not that much of a robbery. I gave Bradley rounds 7,8,9,11,12. I still had Pacquiao winning but hey, 8 or 9 out of 10 times that performance probably would have won. So a couple fights out of 200 that I didn't agree with is far better then complaining each and every Saturday. Some fans can't seem to get the concept that boxing is still a fight. And how do you win a fight normally? By proving your dominance as a man. So flicking a stay off me weak jab is not going to make people think that you just beat a guy that was blowing you back out of the pocket, nearly knocking you out if it wasn't for the bell, breaking your teeth, and making you run and stumble all over the ring.

Are you kidding me, that was a perfect example of clean effective punching all night
