Wow, who would have ever thought Martinez would ONLY be a 2-1 favorite. Man, the public perception of JCC Jr. has really changed. Even a year ago, Martinez may have been a 5-1 or greater fav.

Really Martinez' competition hasn't been stellar as of late. The P. Williams win has calmed down in the eyes of the public. Chavez' competition has not been great either, but he is bigger and stronger than Sergio. He also has a heck of a chin. The odds makers are taking all of this into consideration. Martinez is the better boxer and that is the edge. Besides, Sergio is no spring chicken. Remember Chavez is still undefeated also.

I don't understand what some people are looking at, but this is not going to be a walk in the park for Sergio. Notice when Martinez fights a real puncher he gets put on his butt. He does always come back to win though. Not saying Chavez will knock him out, but if he gets in any kind of trouble, things could really get ugly.

 six or seven months ago Chavez Jr was a fraud and this was a total mismatch.

He still is and it's a mismatch, depending on his magic juice rate in his system.

And what level of competition has Chavez Jr really faced to test his, "heck of a chin"?

I forgot to mention earlier that I'm not sure if Jr. is clean. Its too much controversy surrounding that topic. With that being said, if he can pass the test and still wins, there will be a lot of shocked boxing fans.

Rubio for one. Hate him or not, the kid does have a chin. Any professional boxer can hurt you. He walks through most punches without even backing up.

Jr only chance of winning is to pressure Sergio and impose his will strength n size on him. If he can take Martinez power I believe he could get a late stoppage. Martinez will box circles around Jr all night and will hit him easily, for me at this point its a pick em fight. If Sergio can keep Jr off him he should win no doubt, but Jr is like a Mack truck who knows what will happen.
