Here's the interview from Brook's promoter.

What the hell is wrong with Brook? Seriously! You're trying to aim for the world title, yet you don't train like a true champion. You've got young fighters out there training as best as they can, and Brook's taking this fight with a pinch of salt. You would think the guy would know that he needs to train 110% for every fight from now on. Makes me think about the overweight heavyweights who take on the K bro's with no motivation to be in fighting shape. DISGRACE!

    Opinions?

Mistakes were made but that fight also answers a lot of questions about Kell.

He was complacent & ended up in hospital overnight, hopefully its a lesson learned & we can expect improvements

Carson Jones won a lot of fans last night

Is it just me who finds it weird when promoters and journalists tower over the athletes? Kugan Cassius and Eddie Hearn must be 6'4.

Kell Brook is already a big British boxing star. He doesn't need to prepare for his fights. Brits will love him no matter what.

    He looked trained to me...
Bull**** excuse for looking "Not like expected".

They should instead wear last nights fight as a badge & show the type of balls Brook showed, I fully expected him to fold.

What Brook should do is dump his current staff or add a new element.

"Tell you what Kel, I'll cover for you, say something to keep the hype going."
"Cool Eddie, how are we going to approach this, injury sustained in training? Poor tactics? Jones fought out of his skin? Caught a bug a week from the fight? The pressure got to me and it was a learning curve"
"No Kel, I'm going to tell them you're a lazy **** who doesn't take the sport seriously"
    "Sounds good to me boss"

    Excuses, aye.
