With every Wlad knockout does Haye's performance look better?

no..haye was in their to survive..haye was already rolling with the punch to take the sting out.thompson didnt have the speed to do it..thompsons performance in the first fight was better than hayes..not this fight tho.thompo went into survival mode after the 1st right hand..only difference was he was to big and slow to fight the remainder of the fight slipping a jabber from the outside...hayes performance was ****..not his fault to wlad was just to good..

Haye ran all night, its easy to survive if you refuse to engage. Was a cowardly performance.

 

Only if he puts 100% on defense and 0% on offense, like Haye did.

The second a fighter tries to become even only 25% offensive that means they leave themselves open for counter punches from Wlad. Had Haye actually tried to win - rather than just survive - he most likely would have gotten knocked out :deal

 

That's what he said. Haye showed up to survive, he didn't once take the gamble that he needed to take.

not really. both of their performances were complete garbage in that fight, regardless of how each performs subsequently.

 

But Thompson got knocked out! That's what happens when you lack the athleticism and reflexes of a boxer like Haye.

 

No **** he was worried about getting hurt! No boxer goes into the ring wanting to get hurt, especially at Heavyweight. And Wlad was worried about getting hurt too, that's why you see him leaning back so much when Haye came close to him.

No. . . It just looks more pathetic that Haye had so many physical tools like speed, and power, and couldn't manage to do anythign except wing a few right hands in, and flop to his knees and try to suck him off.
