The heavyweight scene in Britain is fantastic at the moment. Give it 5 years and it could be a strong division once again.

Just seen Mitchell Smith is from Harrow Weald, which before i moved to Notting Hill is where i used to live and wasn't aware of him. Does anyone know which gym he trained in?

Have a look at Luke Blackledge. He's ranked as a light heavy but he will be fighting at Super Middle. 10-0 and in his last fight at just 21 went out to Demark at 10 days notice and beat Madds Laursen. Great prospect and is willing to fight anyone anywhere which is really refreshing

Well he has no amateur pedigree, so I can't really base an opinion on that. I realise he was a kickboxer before and I've heard stories of his sparring with Joshua, but I believe what I see.

I've seen a few of his fights and he looks good but his opposition will let him do so. I don't see anything that makes me think he'll go far at the moment.

So what is it that you can see that I cannot?

Any information on his amateur background?

Looks like he's making some good progression as a pro and is only 21. Haven't seen any of his fights but I'm sure he'll be on Sky in the near future.
