When Will Saul Alvarez Be Ready for Miguel Cotto?

Cotto not being own by Top Rank and being the third most popular/watch fighter in the states, is the main reason I feel this fight will not happen anytime soon. Cotto wil definately not bend for anybody else unless if the money is right again. Manny tried again and you seen what happend. I will like to see Canelo and have always admire fighters who fight outside their comfort zone(fan base). That right there will make me a bigger fan.

 

I think Canelo beats Cotto in 2013. . . He's good bit stiffer than Cotto, and not as fluid in his movement, but he hits a good bit harder than Cotto, and has equal, or maybe even better hand speed.

His technique on his straight right, and left hook are also about on par with Cotto. . . Canelo buzzes that left hook around perfectly parallel to the mat - nice, and tight - the PERFECT trajectory. . .

 

Cotto just has NO BUSINESS, I repeat, NONE, fighting the REAL, PRIMED 154 pounder boxers. . . Canelo just hits too hard for Cotto. . . Way too hard. . .

There's a reason Cotto has not fought a true, primed 154 fighter who has real 154 pound power. . . His resume at 154 is laughable. . .

Canelo wants nothing of Cotto. The BS that some Canelo fans spread regarding Sep....they knew that Cotto was NOT going to fight in Sept.

Canelo/GBP could have pulled the fight in Sept (instead of matching him with YET another can) and say "hey Cotto, we want you in Dec". But since they knew that Cotto was not going to fight in Sept they try to pull a slick one.

They will duck Cotto. Make the fight GBP! Let the boy become a man! Fight Cotto....!

Canelo's fan know no better. Miguel will school the young one.

Canelo needs to develop a bit more of an offensive arsenal. He has youth going for him right now. I think it would be a good test for Canelo and he could perhaps probably win but let him test himself against other fellow 154 lbs fighters.

Why are so many people writing Cotto(e) off? He just gave one of the greatest of all time the second hardest fight of his career.

Saul on the other hand managed to use a shot Oldsley for a punching bag.

Cotto will retire soon. I don't think Canelo will be ready fast enough.

I think a few see Canelo being beating Cotto because Cotto has yet to face a real 154 fighter him being on the small size and canelo being a big bulky 154 pounder with a lot of power, Canelo may just be to big and powerful they both got similar skill sets with Cotto having much more experience... and Canelo having the bigger heart... its a pick em fight at its best and its on the horizon.. GBP would be stupid to let this fight fly by the radar... its gonna happen december or early 2013. Big EVENT.

Can't wait.. this fight would be amazing.
