Is Wlad the most underrated ATG

One would have to be a complete moron to not rank him top 10 all time. The opposition Wlad has faced is completely equal if not better than other top fighters. The other fact is that Wlad is still in his prime, and has the greatest punching power in boxing history. I'd take a tyson right hand over a Wlad right hand 10 times out of 10.

Wlad is not in the top 20 of all-time. Nowhere near top 10 either.

He is the only "great" heavyweight who didn't beat a great opponent or dominated flawlessly. He's a fighter who has been beaten 3 times, shown huge weaknesses and yet hasn't beaten anyone significant. That's not the equation for greatness.

He is not an atg under any circumstances the only Great thing is great luck to be in the worst heavyweight era in history
The only live opponent in his entire manufactured career was david haye and he could barely still hit him or do anything and the man had a broken toe sums it all up really wlad wouldn't last more than 2 rounds against a good prime heavyweight.

Vitali is way better than him.

I dont think he is top 20 yet. He's better than Vitali. We will see when Wlad retires. If he becomes undisputed,it will help him.

    He has some time left.

The truth about him is that he is very good in this era. We cant really judge his spot on the all time list yet.

No, the rebuttal is to mention fighters like Holmes. The problem is, Holmes dominated whereas Wlad gas lost to weak opposition.

Name one fighter who is considered "great" and yet didn't dominate flawlessly and didn't beat a single great opponent. Name me one.

    Top 10 all time?
    P4P or HW?

HW i think there can be made a solid argument for him being ranked 7-10.. I personally him ranked in my top tens.

But top 10 all time p4p, no way..

no, people will say that names like Mitchell, Price and Pulev, Povetkin, Helenius, Chisora, etc. are all bums... and still won't give him credit.

and i will still be defending wlad, even if i agree with the above

Wlad's underrated in terms of H2H discussions. The vast majority of posters who pick against him (usually against crude midgety sluggers like Marciano and Dempsey) routinely display the most abject understanding of his skills and physical abilities that it's possible to get. Reading their simple-minded gibberings might have been amusing once, were they not so crushingly repetitive and immune to facts or logic.

As far as all time standings go, too early to tell. Give it another fifteen or twenty years.

True. If he cleans out all the challengers that are emerging and leaves the scene with no unfinished business and these same dudes take the belts he leaves behind then he'll rightly be a comfortable top ten ATG. Just now he is still outside that ranking in all truth.
