Pavlik just looked too damn robotic to me in this fight. We know from Hopkins and Martinez that guys that give Pavlik angles and circle him will also give him trouble. Rosinskey had good footwork, and kept circling Pavlik most of the fight. Will also was ducking almost immediately every time Pavlik came in with a jab or straight shot.

I think Pavlik could have done more damage working on hooks and uppercuts off of the jab on the inside. The few uppercuts he did throw worked well for him, but then it was back to the straight right.

So I think that Will's movement was a part of why Pavlik looked bad, but moreso it was because Pavlik was not mixing up his punches well at all. Will was ready for that 1-2 straight all damn night, and Pavlik did not trying changing this up enough to confuse him and catch him with something else.

I don't think Pavlik is completely done, but he needs to be more aggressive and stop relying on his straight right so much. The jab is good, as people have said, but a jab can be followed by hooks or uppercuts, which Pavlik doesn't seem to like trying.

I watched the Miranda fight a bit before last nights fights, and Pavlik looked like a beast in that fight compared to last nights performance. Young Pavlik threw hooks, uppercuts, and had decent speed on his punches. He was also willing to be more aggressive, mix in body shots, and many things that I don't see Pavlik doing anymore.

Rosinsky was moving but he still provided a lot of openings that Kelly didn't capitalize on. He said prior to the fight that wanted to look good so I can't totally buy the carrying the opponent to work on things bit.

No he didn't. But taking the glass is half full view and say he wanted to get some rounds in against a game opponent and work on some things sounds a lot like saying he was carrying him. I hope he's got it sorted out because he very well may get a froch fight considering both have time in the fall for it

He's mentioned froch and Kessler among others but the timing is there for a froch fight

Carl hates that Ameri-bum, he will destroy him, I think it will take him less than 2 rounds to completely erase him from the game.

It may actually take a fight like Froch to bring out the old Kelly if he is still in there somewhere. React instead of think.

Pavlik in October. Kessler or Bute according to Arum.

Thats what will happen a fight with Froch will bring out the lion in Kelly some people just assume this man is all done based on his comeback bouts.

To me what I see is an experienced fighter working on elements of his game so he can add to his arsenal. Froch is wide open, Kelly is not Bute, sure he isnt Andre Ward either, However the style Froch has thats a style Kelly enjoys being in there with

I've got no evidence from Kelly's last 4 fights to support a claim that he would beat froch. I wish I did. Once upon a time but not right now.

Well, Arum is letting no moss grow under Pavlik, which is good. Same thing he announced after Kelly won the belts. I think he knew Kelly needed to stay active but mainly to keep his weight down back then.

Kelly has the tools to give froch fits. He's strong, has a sturdy beard. He's not going to fold like bute did. The old 1-2 would serve him well along with his work rate. If he can put everything together and incorporate what he's been working on with Garcia it's going to be a fantastic fight

The way I see it, everybody has written him off entirely, that is a mistake with a puncher like Kelly. I think he beats froch, kills Bute, retires Kessler.

let them have their doubts, when these fights come they will see that perhaps losing to two of boxings greats isnt such a bad thing after all
