When did he live here and for how long? No, I entirely disagree with Cascarino playing for the national team, especially since his mother was adopted from his Irish grandfather and so he had no blood connection. But I don't begrudge him playing because that shower needed (and still need) all the help they can get.

Fair enough, there's a difference between living here and staying for a while though. I think there's a good reason he was denied permission to fight for Ireland in the Olympic Games.

If he was born in China he wouldn't be Chinese. As far as I'm concerned, if you're ethnically Irish, and you consider yourself Irish, you're Irish. We're not talking about somebody whose family left Ireland 200 years ago. Half my cousins were born and raised in England, doesn't mean they considered themselves English. I'd say it takes at least 3 or 4 generations for the rot to set in and any normal Irishman to consider himself English.:D

In Tyson Fury's case, his father was apparently born in Ireland, and so were all his grandparents.

    Wrong!

He owns property in Monaghan. Used to live there, also lived in Belfast and fought for the Holy Family club and represented Ireland as an amateur. But dont let the facts get in the way of your bigotry! ;)

As I said before, nationallity is not as black and white as some would think, withoutwire your ignorance is unreal, my father was born and reared in London to Irish parents , he moved over here when he was 13 and was always raised Irish in an Irish area of London, he always carried an Irish passport ! So what would you consider him ? Would you say he is not Irish even though he is a big part of his local GAA club and speaks Irish ? Given your ignorant West Brit attitude he would of course be British ! Ignorant Gobshite !

Il be very surprised if you come back with a response, I bet you would have no problem calling Khan a ****stani because his skin is of a different colour !
