The end of David Haye this saturday?

I like Chisora, but even with a win over Haye, he's got a LOOOOOONNNNGGGG road to climb to get into title contention again. Haye otoh could get the fight with Vitali or Potvetkin with a win here.

But........we need to see the Haye from the Mormeck fight if he's gonna win this. And I have yet to see him fight like that since he's moved up.

It's time for him to either **** or get off the pot.

But yeah.....based off of that.....yeah, Chisora by TKO or DQ.:think

 

Or a NC because during an exchange early while Chisora is pressuring him, their feet could get tangled, and if Haye feels he's gonna go, he may well cry injury and have it stopped before 4 due to his ank(*****) hurting.:deal

 

Haye is just a far better boxer.....Chisora's chin/mental toughness will win him some rounds but Haye will outbox him and win comfortably.

Chisora by UD, on a sheer workrate. Haye will have his moments here and there, but his low punching output won't allow him to get past Chisora's sturdiness.

 

Haye by easy KO. Chisora defence is too open against someone with speed and power like Haye has.

 

The ref stops Chisora from taking anymore punishment in the later rounds. I see this one going exactly the same as the Ruiz fight. Chisora is essentially a black Ruiz with slower feet and a worse jab but possibly a slightly better chin.

Haye is bigger, more experienced, better boxer, much much faster of hand and foot and hits harder. Chisoras heart and chin are just going to lead to a more prolonged beating.

I fail to see how Haye not KO'ing Valuev and Wlad, just because he said he would, now means he is going to get beat by a limited slugger who i was watching 2 years ago look particularly average against Domestic opposition. He does well against 2 big men who can't move their feet and who fought with 1 arm for most of the fights and now he's the 2nd coming of Frazier?

Chisora is a **** plodder who got near on shut out against a 1 handed and seriously declining Vitali. Just because he showed heart, chin and a lack of intelligence doesn't make him a good fighter.

Same as all you guys on here that try to back up your claims of Haye being **** because he will be on the back foot trying to outbox his opponent. This is boxing, hit and not get hit. This isn't a street fight. If you've got better mobility, reach, speed and boxing ability you'd have to be 98% down syndrome to try to fight the fight from the middle of the ring when you can win the fight so much easier with movement and boxing ability.
Guess some fans will never be happy unless both fighters just stand in the centre of the ring, trading shots. Maybe we should do away with boxing rings and just use a phone box. In fact lets just get rid of all boxers and pull in some pikeys.

 

Haye doesn't really believe he will blow Chisora out early. In "beyond the ropes" they are training him to be a pressure fighter in the second half of the fight - they wouldn't do that if they really believed he can KO Del Boy easily. I don't believe Haye can be an effective pressure fighter, though. Haye has the speed advantage, but he's going to have to get on his bike to win - I don't mean that as a diss, he's just gotta be smart.

 

Chisora does NOT have slower feet than the Ruiz that Haye fought. Check out the Ruiz Valuev matches, Ruiz was SO slow on his feet that Valuev (y'know....handspeed approximating the speed of your average glacier), was able to pick him off easily on the way in.

Just as an aside, I know that Ruiz wasn't stopped between Tua and Haye, but does nobody realise that Mr King studiously avoided matching Ruiz with any big punchers. The closest were a used up Golota (who floored him twice) and an overweight Rahman, who Lewis and Sanders aside, never has stopped anyone of note, not even the notoriously chinny Maskaev. All that said, where does this idea of Ruiz having an "iron chin" come from?

 

Haye by KO around 8 or 9.

On his bike first half of the fight, peppering Del boy with shots.

Then second half of the fight when Del boy slows down Haye will open up for the KO.

Why would I care about the opinion of some guy with a bedsheet over his head?



I expect Haye to win an easy, boring decision. (No KO) Most likely Haye will do the Chicken dance, landing 1-2 meaningful shots per round, but Chisora will land ZERO meaningful shots per round. After the final bell rings, and everyone wakes up from their naps, the judges will have no choice but to give it to Haye.

But I'm also hoping Dougboy can pull it out, since Haye's a right ****.

But I also hope Haye can KO Doughboy, since Derek's a right ****.



Is there some way that they BOTH can lose? That would be ideal.
